Hey Guys.

I've been on this server for a few days now, I've seen a bit of this and a bit of that. Well, I've seen some problems occuring most of the time, I've already spoke out something about Demons not taking the roles serious (which currently seems to have bettered), but one thing that keeps bugging me is the following...

Why are some of the people not taking their roles serious?

So, I'm not saying to try to point fingers at anybody, that's why I'm not reporting anything, just to make that clear. I just want to bring forth an observation I've made, and maybe it'll help bettering the quality of this server.

My theory is, that it starts with those who put down the rules. Are they taking the roles serious? I've made positive experience with Admins or Super Admins, however the deeper we go to the chain of command, it starts to get a little wobbly. You see, I'm trying to say here, that the executors, which are mostly the Moderators of the server are a vital organ to keeping the foundation stable, so that the Admins and Super Admins can deal with other things perhaps aswell, not only making the machine of rules work. 
I guess with that being said, it is a suggestion more directed to the execution of roles, and the standpoint of Moderators.
I've observed, that with Moderators even online, many odd things still happen. I can understand, that it is a straining job to be a Moderator, especially when so many things occur. I have already been talking to one of the Moderators about their huge burden they have to hold, and that it's not easy pleasing everyone. 
However, maybe the burden wouldn't weigh so much, if people would consider the fact more, that the moderators are more present, but how do we do that?

Suggestion

For instance, every Moderator, every Admin does joke around every now and then, yes. They too make mistakes, it is human, yes. We sometimes let us slip away into this little drive to just not care and have fun with what you have, it is understandable and I did so aswell. However, I've learned to wait until it's very dark, most are not active and the people really don't care about RP anymore. You can tell that if everybody is outside of their role, atleast I can.
And what if I couldn't wait? I choose to leave the server and go on a server which allowed me to do what I wanted to do without breaking the immersion of somebody.

But why is it so important to not break the immersion of somebody? Because it is a Domino-Effect. In my opinion, if somebody is in their role and he plays others and suddenly somebody FailRPs, and nothing is done against that, people will realize that you can get away with FailRPing. Oddly it is alike the pecking order of chickens. The superior chicken pecks the second dominant and it goes further down. However, if the Moderators do not peck, then the Griefers, Mingers and unserious Roleplayers will. 
Therefore, it is vital in my opinion, that the immersion, the authenticity of roleplay has to be held highly by Moderators. I do not want to tell you to become strict, coldblooded and emotionless, but maybe discipline is needed, especially when in Roleplay. If you break out of the Role, you are not part of this universe anymore to be very blunt. It is like Assassins Creed and the Animus, I guess? If you do shit Altair wouldn't do, you desynchronize. Again, I just want you to think about it. I don't want to tell you're doing bad. I want to tell what we could work on! Smile

Suggestion 2

This Suggestion might be a bit more irrelevant, or maybe even uncalled for. Perhaps I don't know the circumstances! However, I furthermore think, that if you are a Moderator, you are not able to go off-Duty. Again, it is about the 'pecking order', if you forget to remind the players of the rules, they will make their own ones.
Some of the Moderators surely know that, but I've heard from one Moderator, that he's "Off-Duty". Now, maybe he did forget about his responsibilities, or maybe it wasn't so clear for him. What I want to say is, that this should be more explicitly told to the Moderators.

And last but not least, if there is a thing such as Off-Duty, well then I'm surpprised! Surely you can take a break as Moderator, but only when the flood ends. There is an ebb and flow in such things, and if you deliberate, maybe you remind yourself about calm moments of gaming, where everybody is pleased. I just think, that the presence of the Moderators isn't sometimes present enough to please everybody. (In which the irony is that I'm probably the hardest to please because I point out all such things, haha... Sorry Tongue)

Suggestion 3

You'd do me a favour if you'd activate @ system again ! Because I think it's dumb to just put the report in OOC, where everybody can see it. This also causes tensity, if you ask me.

If you get what I mean. 


Alright, so. Don't see my suggestions as harsh, because I kinda think that I'm a bit of a half-wit about what goes on. I mean I've been here just for some days so, gee. But hey, maybe those suggestions will help you.

As for dragons, there are numerous amounts of possibilities, but I'll be going through a nit-picked one that I think would work best for this server in particular:

Job Description: 
You are a pet-dragon. You urge for an owner to tame* you. You may not enter any Kingdoms, nor the Town until you have an owner. You only kill if you are being instructed so by your owner.

*Taming is a simple process inspired by a familiar server, where you advert "Tame" when standing near a dragon. The player roleplaying as the dragon then have to advert "Tamed" to confirm an ownership. This works very similarly to hiring mercenaries. 

EDIT: Job Characteristics: Wise, Dominant, Ambitious, Ancient, Power-hungry, Neutral

Author's Notes:
For this server to have run for this long and not having had a dragon-job, as far as I'm concerned up until now is mind-boggling. These creatures are as equally essential as the Orcs and the Demons, when you refer to a roleplaying setting such as this one. A Dragon-pet job would bring more caring to the server. Companionship and whatnot. It's a great way to make friends in the long run. And with the lack of transportation* in mind, excluding horses which are VIP-material, it's great to have a cheap and loyal way to travel the lands, without having to walk.

Please do consider adding this. Not only to become a personal favorite of mine, but to this community as a whole.

* By transportation, I mean sitting on your pet-dragon's back as he takes you wherever desired. This also opens up the possibilities of war-mounts, although i leave you people to decide where the line should be drawn.

Additional idea:
You could also add an additional job along this one that acts like a temporary owner, until otherwise. I'm thinking of a Dragon-Master of some sort, equipped with leashes or handcuffs to keep the dragons under control, before he sells them personally to others. This is optional, but would work better depending on how many player-slots we'll have for dragons.

Thinking about it, you could probably allow merchants to sell leashes as well in case we were to add this job.

As a result of my continuous thinking, I'll be placing a straw-poll along with this suggestion.

The Demigods

North of the mountains east of the duengons and south of the ocean, stood the land of Yeyn. A majestic and mysterious place where magic stands as a last checkpoint, lies two holy Monsterious faction. Let me tell you about The Aulkus Kingdom first. The Aulkus was named after its God, Noccolius of Aulkus a man that was worshipped and was  known for the empire that he had created with it, but he wasnt the only god there was also Noccolius of Therlin, he was the somewhat god that was never worshipped of, but he had a desire of conquers and greatness, he wanted to capture all of  Yeyn, hold it for himself. He never shares his thoughts to noone not even his fellow Heroes,  that were keeping the kingdom safe and stable. Therlin had the power Sorcery and Fire, he was the strongest, but not the smartest, wich brings us to the smartest god of them all, Noccolius of Orschel, He was greatly indept to the kingdom, he didnt care of the goals that Aulkus had given him, he wanted to keep the kingdom safe instead of making it a powerhouse amongst Yeyn. He was also a good friend of Therlin, But both Therlin or Orschel wasn't that good of friends with Aulkus, but they needed to keep all of them three togheter, otherwise the kingdom would collapse, Orschel had the power of Sorcery and Water while Aulkus had the power of Light, he could forfill peoples wishes and ressurect people, he was the leader of the three, he had the key to the Kingdom. The Heros of Aulkus was Deltos the Hero of Water, Hyloms the Hero of Fire, Gebris the Hero of Light, And Pelais the Hero of Lightning. The Aulkus controlls Almost all the north and west and has resources needed to keep the track of the kingdom going. It has its own culture and ways of life. The army of the Kingdom is heavily strong equipped with an Unkown amount of people terrifies the rest of Yeyn. The rest of Yeyn, is The Palezian Kingdom, As strong and powerful as it sounds it controlls almost all of the Eastern and southern Areas, The Palezia also has its own god Barehnford of Imrillios, the god of Cold and Ice, he dubbed himself as Knight and is one of the eight Olympus Knights in the Palezia, the other seven is Migris the Protector of Eltir, Olnergitt Protector of Xerios, Felkeros Protector of Ibelsan, Arados Protector of Horschenbourg, Rausal Protector of Certin, Derbelgoss Protector of Shibal, And then we have Tylljoss the Protector of Woyhenbourg. The Olympus Knights control parts of the places that was mentioned, A Knight doesn't have to be a Hero Or a god to own a seat Beyond the Knights wich means that the mortals can also take place, its only to prove how much power you have in the seat that you want to control, a Knight can abdicate or lose it's seat depending on how you lose power and lose the seat, you can go to the seat again if you do the tasks again. The Knights do have shepardy between the gods but cant vote participate with them, they just have a connection with the gods, but its not as powerful as between the connection between a Hero. The seats of the Olympus Knights are Eltir, Xerios, Ibelsan, Horschenbourg, Certin, Shibal, Woyhenbourg and Ugotahr. The two other gods are Barehnford of Saetelsan, The god of Darkness, he was the most terrifying of them all he had strong powers even stronger than Imrillios or even Aulkus, he has the power to give people strength and confidence during great battles he can manipulate armys to do what he says, he is almost as strong as Imrillios, maybe even stronger.  He was the strongest amongst the three he was the reason why the kingdom was growing so large, people adored him as he was the only god, but not all, some gave theyre lives for the other two, Saetelsan was also good friends with Imrillios. Instead of Aulkus's system that only one god shall have the key the Palezians don't have a key, instead they share the kingdom togheter, this is why the Palezians are so somber, if one god goes the other way or gets distracted, they would all collapse and the whole Palezia  go with it, The areas that Palezia controlls will also go away. The third god is Barehnford of Quantalios, he is the smartest, he has the power of Earth and Rock, he controls the hardest elements in the nature of Github, Quantalios is also reffered as Yaugerborch wich is his warname give by him through the Aulkus. Yaugerborch in Aulkusian means "The Emperor Hunter". Quantalios is also the smartest and knows how to balance the system of nature more than is fellow god comrades. The Heros of Palezia is , Hirsef the Hero of Cold and Ice, Opulgar the Hero of Darkness, Eokelsoth the Hero of Earth and Rock, Parayorgth the Hero of Deserts and Sand. The Olympus Knight system does not interfere with the behavings of the politics in The Palezian Kingdom, instead Olypmus Knights are willing to do whatever the case that they want to the only disclaimer is that theyre technically dubbed Knights because they were chosen by the other Knights to become an  Knight, Its Called the Oglaf Voting System and happens every time when an empty Seat for one of the 8 Olympus Seats are not taken, The Oglaf preserves that seat for the one that shall have it. But even thought the Kingdom is strong in theory in practice neither the Aulkus or Palezia controlls the most amount of the land in Github, The Forellgard does, its and empty landscape where no kingdoms lies to rule, Neither Aulkus or Palezia controlls any land! They are just borrowing it from Forellgard, infact the mortals cannot live in Aulkus or Palezian land, only some people who  are qualified to live there are wich in practice means no Mortals will never even visit Aulkus or Palezian land. No one owns the Forellgard neither is it being protected, its just land that no Kingdom wants claim because they fear it would bring them closer to Mortal villages and citys. But the Palezians isnt the only one to have the Olympus Knights system, The Aulkus also uses an similiar part called,  The  Bahrendeil  Guardians. But this one includes only 4 seats instead of 8, Atyllof the Guardian of Etellkan, Hierendayle the Guardian of Ultiq, Awurtvag The Guardian of Ioyrgal, And then we have Byornalk the Guardian of Dulisgard. The seats of the Bahrendeil Guardians are Etelkan, Ultiq, Ioyrgal, Dulisgard. The Bahrendeil politics do interfear with the Politics in Aulkus as the Guardians must protect all of the Github from turning Evil, while it does not interfear with the gods. The Guardians are considered the Masters of the Masters and are the most powerful of all in Aulkus, The Bahrendeil works like this, When the end of the decade is soon upon them they must make a list wich says what people who should replace them, after that every cast member has to write down 3 different names of only one of them is going to be chosen when the decade has ended the Guardians are going to choose the one that has been doing the best so far through the last decade. Then he is chosen and is approved by the Guardian and his other Guardian comrades he is now the Carrier of the Seat for the rest of the decade, when the decade is out it repeats itself until the Cycle is carried out. This is called the Tilemborth Candidate Voting System.

The Great Plague of Delarie is an deadly virus that spreads from man to man without needing to do hand contact, eye contact, or any sort of mental contact.
The plague can be instantly given to someone else by sneezing, Or can be given through bathing in dirty waters. The main reason the plague came to exist were from merchants. During the times of the times when the dwarves were comming into the lands and settling colonies to the North east. They brought merchants with them. These merchants were corrupt, they only accepted dwarven coins and jewelry. And some merchants refused to sell to normal villagers. The items that these merchants were carrying were very rare, and extrodinary. Iron, gold, silver, jewelry and more all into one single merchant. Dwarven Merchants were far more superior to normal merchants as theyve traveled far with speed and couldve delivered theyre goods far more faster than regular merchants. Mostly by times only Nobles, Kings, Princesses and queens had afford to buy these goods. But not all merchants brought Ore or jewelry. Many of them brought spices, Ingredients and potions. These potions were considered to be druggy by many of the kings, and some even made them illegal. During the time were the final race had settled in the lands. Doctors were searching for a cure to try to end a new disease that was infecting young children. The Disease was not that extreme, as a 1 in a five study showed that a child could be cured. These doctors were working with no haste. As older the lands became the scarcer the ingredients became to make temporarily cure potions. The ingrediends became such a small number that the price became more expensive than the dwarven merchandise. Wich made the doctors buy ingredients from dwarves instead. After the first royal family was introduced in the dwarven colonies the dwarven merchants became useless as the kings ,people and nobles only needed to pay the kingdom of dwarves. This made merchants go away from these lands and go to other lands instead. And once these diseases that made the children sick come, made the merchants come back with goods from the lands that theyre been in. Thev brought Poisons and strange mushrooms that made you hallucinate. And due to this the doctors who bought these ingredients and mixed them with more fresher qualified, made some strange discoviries. One example can be during the time when the Demons had come to the lands. Two Demonic Doctors were working on a potion that could make them Camoflauge with theyre surroundings. Instead they created a horrifying gas that surrounded the lab. It killed 12 people including the Doctors. The gas had later been contained. Though this was not it. Mix the gas, Colyphigiarus, Menryiagus and Cobalt Ore, you get an fast version of the gas. Unlike its gas version this was invisible and to some Invincible. It was so good that the demons used it as a way of performing demonic assaults and realesing theyre poison to the people. Later the kingdom of Reach found a cure for this and it became instantly extinct. On one night 16 doctors were working to create a cure for the Mogola disease (Disease that makes children die). They failed when they mixed Hidrocarbon and Colyphigiarus togheter and made a new poison that tended to be applied to rats. And the rats made the poison more deadlier. Thus the Plague was created.
